WAVELAND – Walter Leslie Bullerdick, 72, farmer of Rt. 1, died in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville at 8 a.m. Tuesday. He had been hospitalized 10 days. Mr. Bullerdick lived in the Russellville-Waveland area since 1921. For the last several years he owned and operated a farm on Rt. 1. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Byron Christian Church. A son of Edward and Azlee Bressler Bullerdick, he was born Dec. 6, 1894 in Poland, Ind. He was married Jan. 11, 1921 to Verna Hunsicker in Rockville. Surviving are the widow; three sons, Dale and Clyde of near Crawfordsville and Max of Waveland; two brothers, Cecil and Ray, both of Bainbridge; three half-brothers, Wilbur of Greencastle and John and Melvin, both of Poland; a half-sister, Mrs. Alice Querry of Poland; three grandchildren and a great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ross, in 1966, a sister and a half-brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Machledt and Servies Funeral Home with Revs. James O. Trousdale and Walter Porter officiating. Burial will be in Russellville Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.   -– jlr
